Step Two: Choose a Ketubah Text
Owing to the plethora of branches of Judaism today, a young couple must not only decide on the Ketubah design but on the Ketubah text. Whereas traditional Ketubot (plural of Ketubah) detailed the financial aspects of the marriage and emphasized the husband's obligations towards his wife, modern Ketubah texts emphasize a couple's commitment to love and honor one another and their mutual respect and obligations. The table below is designed to help you decide which text to use, but you are free to mix and match options, as you desire.
Remember to consult your Rabbi or Officiant in this matter!
Please note that the text/s you choose will be artfully adjusted to fit in with the Ketubah design. You may choose to have only a Hebrew text, only an English text, or both a Hebrew and an English text at no extra charge.
Note: You may also choose a custom text of your own, which we can translate into Hebrew at the cost of $50 US.
You can choose to replace the English text (Texts 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20,and 22) with a text in another language at the cost of $50 US (if you supply the translation) or $100 US (if we supply the translation). Contact us
